I was in no rush to get to Andrea's
parent's place but it didn't help that I had no fuel and had failed
to fill up yesterday when I was in Feltre. So off I headed back to
Feltre for fuel. I tried getting the machine at the 'closed' petrol
station to take my card but it wasn't having any of them but it did
take some cash and once again I was off heading back west this time
to Trento and then hit the passes to get to the other side of lake
Garda. I stopped a few times for photos but I took a small break
near Lago Tenno to take some pictures, eat some fruit and just stared
amazed at the colour of the water. Unfortunately the BB didn't do a
very good at colour rendition in this case. I got to Andrea's about
3:30pm so about 4 hours in total but I hadn't rushed any of it.

Lago Tenno - was a beautiful blue - much better than in this picture

Riva Del Garda I think...

There at last
I shouldn't have been surprised really
at the size of the house but it was large. It was mostly like a
bungalow but like a lot of properties over here the house is build on
top of a large garage/basement. The bike went in the general room
for things not needing to go in the garage/washroom/store room/boiler
room...
A little later on we went to Andrea's
wife's home village and to their family's restaurant - la lanterna.
Had a coffee from downstairs and some cake that her sister had made -
mix of cake and cheesecake - lovely. Then to the lake with the kids
and back via the magic taps (fizzy water on tap!) before heading back
to Andrea's place for a shower before going out for dinner. We met
Andrea's mates at the local cafe/restaurant about 20 metres from the
front gate, some wines, some crisps then for pizza and tiramisu and a
desert wine for afters. Lots of talking and not all in a dialect
that was completely unintelligible although I didn't understand most
of the detail of what was said (with Sam Fox - Touch Me playing in
the background at one point) I could get the gist of most of the conversations.
